Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled, QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. You will be responsible for the quality engineering and testing of implementation that meets the needs and expectations of the business groups. You will work collaboratively with India development team, North America development team, and various business and customer stakeholders to ensure the delivery in an efficient and timely manner.

Job Description

• Must have experience of testing web-based applications.
• Should have a good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle.
• Demonstrate the ability to derive the Test Scenarios from the Business Requirements.
• Demonstrate working understanding in Test Design and writing detailed test cases based on user scenarios.
• Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes.
• Responsible for performing test execution and test analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Functional / Regression / Retesting / UI / Usability / Cross Browser testing.
• Familiar with Database testing; good reporting & documenting skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum methodology is a plus.
• Good knowledge on test management & Defect tracking tools like Jira/azure devops.
• Basic understanding of Software and Web technologies which includes SQL, Web API.
• Having experience in UI automation using Selenium and Java is a plus.
• Having Logistic / Storage domain experience is a plus.
• Good at troubleshooting and fixing issues
• Ability to develop reusable automated tests .
• Knowledge or experience of automation is plus

Requirement and qualification

• Must have experienced between 3-7 years in manual and automation testing in a software product company (Mandatory).
• Ability to write detailed test plans, test scripts, and reports and execute test plans and document results.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical software requirements, specifications
• Hands-on experience on requirements, test execution & defect tracking.
• Hands-on experience in Performance Testing automation tools
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
• Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process.
• Strong analytical skills are required to understand, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Review user requirements documents to ensure that requirements are testable.
• Ready to learn new tools and technologies.
• Should have participated in QA planning from Acceptance testing, Functional testing, Regression testing, System testing perspective. Should have knowledge of tools used in QA process for test case organization, bug tracking, etc.
• Should be excellent in English communication.
