Job Summary
As a Senior Proposal Manager, you will develop and provide customer-ready high-quality, relevant and professional bid and proposal documents such as budgetary estimates, proposals, RFP responses, sales presentations, or Statements of Work (SOW).
Job Requirements- BS/BA degree is a must.
- 4-12 years of experience in proposal development and technical communications is a must.
- Domain expertise in Professional Services Industry (Support, Consulting, Sales, Operations) is a must.
- Proven efficiency and effectiveness in written and verbal communication skills is a must.
- Ability to understand technical information and intepret problem statements is a must.
- Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task is a must.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word are a must.
- Ablity to travel as needed, domestically and internationally for up to 25% is expected.
- Flexibility/willingness to work off-hours to meet proposal deadlines is expected.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines is expected.
- Willingness to work remotely and manage remote teams is expected.

Job Description - Reponsible to provide bid and proposal support to business development / sales / proposal professionals and teams.
- Responsible to provide subject matter expertise to organize and run competitive requests for proposal pursuits effectively and efficiently.
- Responsible to design and develop high quality customer-ready proposals.
- Responsible to maintain records and logs for monthly workloads.
- Responsible to review, simplify and provide consistent content for bids and proposals to increase win rates.
- Responsible to provide support to sales/delivery teams by developing customer-ready SOW and presentations for external customers.
- Responsible to lead proposal process from post-service request through submittal.
- While considering each proposal as a small project with multiple moving parts and several stakeholders (organization-wide), responsible to handle 2-6 projects at a time, depending on the size and complexity.
- Responsible to write, edit, proofread, design, and format assigned commercial and/or public-sector customer-facing deliverables, including executive summaries, win themes, capability statements, orals/demos, pre-sales presentations, SOWs, graphics, and special projects such as marketing collateral.
- Responsible to delegate sections of the project/proposal to other staff proposal writers.
- Responsible to manage proposal teams (sales executives and other roles / staff) to develop and deliver high-quality, fully compliant responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, IDIQs, Task Orders.
- Responsible to set-up and manage collaboration sites on SharePoint.
- Responsible facilitate team status calls.
- Responsible to create and manage schedules, author assignment matrices, and response outlines/templates.
- Responsible to transform interviews/raw data into proposal text.
- Responsible to support sales teams by interpreting technical information during client sales calls.
- Responsible to produce final customer deliverables, whether electronic or hard copy.
- Responsible to contribute to and maintain database/knowledgebase/archive of reusable proposals, references, and other preapproved, customer facing content.
- Responsible to prepare and submit weekly reports on deals.
