Roles and Responsibilities
- Evaluate customer requests to determine if existing solutions can be leveraged or if a new solution would be required
- Facilitate technical discovery sessions, standard integration and functionality overviews
- Gather and understand a customer s integration needs and position the right integration solution
- Adhere to processes and ensure the usage of design templates, tools and accelerators for API development
- Design a solution that fits the existing system and the customer requirements
- Develop secure and extensible APIs that power internal integrations and engaging customer-facing experiences
- Support Test Managers during Implementation Testing
- Triage and resolve issues identified
- Seek customer and internal engineering sign-off to ensure a smooth transition of integrations
- Align delivery of data integrations with the overall milestones of an implementation project
- Collaborate with Product Management and Operations to ensure shared knowledge
- Adapt to a fast-paced work environment while managing multiple and changing priorities
- Support a general workload of 5 concurrent projects and across as many customers
Skills for Trade
- Overall 6+ years of experience
- Professional Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Experience in API integration platforms like Apigee/Mulesoft/Torocloud
- Experience in developing the middleware components in Expressjs
- Proficiency in languages for API Development
- Understanding of the Micro services Architecture
- In-Depth knowledge in RESTful architecture principles and their applicability
- Knowledge of API lifecycle is a must
- Experience in MEAN stack is a plus
- Ability to design and develop event based integration systems
- Knowledge of best practices
- Good verbal and written Communication
