Roles and Responsibilities

Job brief:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled technical writer to join our growing organization. In this

position, you will create easy-to-understand user content and product documentation to

increase product clarity, performance, and usability. A strong knowledge base and ability to work

cooperatively with other teams are a must.

Responsibilities:

Work with internal teams to understand product documentation requirements

Create strong documentation that fulfills company standards and audience goals

Write straight-forward end user documents and interface text

Utilize a variety of media forms; include images and charts

Analyze the current documentation and make improvements as necessary

Actively participate in Scrum meetings and other weekly meetings

Requirements:

Experience in technical writing of software documentation

Experience in creating end user documentation such as User Guide, Installation Guide etc.

Knowledge of API documentation will be an added advantage

Familiarity with Content Management System (CMS) such as GitLab etc.

Familiarity with the SDLC and Agile methodologies

Should have prior experience in writing American English technical documents

Prepare release notes for every release and share them with clients

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bachelor or master s degree in computer science, Engineering or equivalent is preferred

Familiarity with requirement below will be an added advantage:

Markdown language (MKdocs)

Working knowledge of Linux or Mac operating systems

Sound knowledge of Cloud based technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP etc.

Experience in Visual Studio Code (VS Code) editor

Experience with Jira software to capture writing tasks, prioritize them, and track them through the workflow
