Role Brief:

Machine Learning driven algo trading startup looking for a top-notch Engineer to build algorithmic trading systems. Unique opportunity to create and scale an end-to-end technology platform from data storage, testing and simulation of trading strategies, to live trading in the stock markets. Become a member of the core team pioneering this business.

Role:

• Develop live trading system order and execution management, broker interactions and monitoring of trading
• Develop back-testing platform for algorithmic trading strategies supports test scenarios, performance and risk metrics
• Develop simulation engines for different trading strategies (e.g. long-short)
• Build Cloud platform to support modelling and trading
• Create client portal

Skills:

• Strong Python programming skill for data engineering, web applications and API development.
• Understanding of ETL - with Streaming & Batch processing (Real-time & Non-Realtime)
• Ability to design and development of data warehouses and scalable ETL pipelines using Python and Kafka.
• Prior experience in creating publication and consumption of Kafka topics, resiliency, monitoring through real time data streams.
• Comfortable with Linux and shell scripting.
• Proficiency in a database platform : MySql, SQL Server, MongoDB

Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years software development and data experience
• Knowledge of financial markets and trading a plus
• Ability to work solo, in close collaboration with business users
• Self-starter, driven to excellence, keen learner

Education Qualification: Education in Computer Science or Engineeringpreferred
