Member will be responsible for new Product Development and sustaining engineering support for existing products by leading projects from the front. Key responsibilities:

• Develop Product/System/Sub system design requirement, implementation plan, design Risk Management and other requirements as per Business unit site specific process
• Execute product upgrade, cost out, quality improvement and localisation projects on time with right quality.
• Meet the custom order project design requirements and ensure design to manufacturing phase completes on time.
• Implement design changes and product quality improvement needs through change management process
• Should understand Power budget and error budget calculation and take decisions for smooth delivery of the projects
• Collaborate well with product management, manufacturing, sourcing, compliance and external vendors.
• Conduct product teardowns and benchmark analysis of competitive products
• The candidate should be able to generate crisp and specific design specifications for electronics and mechanical design teams.

Educational Qualification:

BE Electronics & Telecommunication

Work Experience:

10-12 years

Must-Have Skills:

• Experience in handling simulation tools like spice, NI LabVIEW tool,
• Thorough knowledge about Linear and SMPS power supply design
• Good exposure to embedded hardware design and understanding of microcontrollers from hardware architecture and hardware design pointof view
• Understanding of instrumentation and measurement techniques for optical, Electrochemical, Piezo, Hall sensors. (water and steam application domain)

Good to Have Skills:

• Analytical thinking and problemsolving.
• Awareness about EMI/ EMC/ EX is added advantage.
• Use of various equipment like CRO, function generator, megger, power suppliesetc.
• Exposure to basic mechanical engineer, use of tools, and basic hardware used in electronics PCB assemblies
