Senior Product Designer Job in Flytbase Inc.

Role and Responsibilities: Responsible for designing products from start to finish, creating and managing product design roadmaps, ensuring feasibility and alignment with development capabilities in an agile environment. Design products from start to finish, including building and working upon design systems and paying close attention to details in design, such as colors, typography, etc. Understanding of the design process, assessing trade offs between research methods to modify the design process to meet deadlines. Evaluate the effectiveness of designs by ensuring that they meet customer needs and development capabilities. Also by ensuring that they are designed using design systems, and apply existing UI patterns. Experience in taking design decisions by understanding and taking product calls to shoot down an existing user experience by understanding customer capabilities, etc. Knowledge of applying existing UX patterns, while also innovating by introducing new components whenever and wherever required. Mentor junior designers, by helping them understand problems, and oversee projects. Read and understand technical API and SDK documentation to derive actionable insights. Pay high level of attention to UI elements & generate user empathy and apply that knowledge to make design decisions. Have good existing knowledge of design theory to communicate design theories and approaches within teams. Use good presentation skills to deliver designs, effectively communicating design decisions to stakeholders. Define clear deadlines for projects by breaking down the project into small parts. Best suited for candidates who: (Skills/Experience) Have 2+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer or an equivalent role. Have strong product thinking and problem solving skills. Have experience in conducting user research to identify problems users might be facing. Have good Visual Design skills to create an aesthetically pleasing user interface. Have good scenario mapping capabilities and good visualization skills to identify and map complex scenarios. Must have proficiency with Figma, creating and maintaining component libraries and design systems. Have experience in creating content and/or designing SaaS applications with compliance to WCAG 2.0/2.1 AA guidelines. Have knowledge of creating Design Systems & implementing them.
