About the role

As a key contributor to the performance marketing channel, you will have a highly visible role within the Org with an opportunity to influence how Flipkart runs its entire performance marketing portfolio.

In addition to Google & Facebook a major part of this role will also give you the opportunity to work with external Retargeting partners. About the team

Flipkarts Performance marketing team is responsible for driving quality customers, caters to full funnel solutioning & increase repeat purchases, We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to design, implement and drive performance marketing across categories. This is an opportunity for you to drive marketing initiatives for Flipkart and help in scaling up Search & ReMarketing channel. You need to demonstrate deep understanding and knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem and customer behaviour. You will have proven success in driving results in B2C customer acquisition. You will be comfortable working with complex challenges, and understand the value of rapid tests and learn approaches.


What youll do:

Build plan & strategy to shape performance marketing for some of the key category portfolio at Flipkart

Regular interaction & insights sharing with internal Category teams to build the Performance Marketing Strategy for Flipkart together

Plan new initiatives & experiments to explore future growth opportunities.

Build processes to streamline Optimization, Campaign Management, Analytics activities for the channel portfolio

Design and execute a channel growth plan to expand the business aggressively

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance and Business teams for new initiatives for driving growth for performance channels.

Coordinate with other marketing channels to drive media efficiencies.

Demonstrate ability to work at managing advertising campaign execution, creating and optimizing campaigns, analyzing traffic data and solving problems.

Manage external publishers/partners, elaborate the requirements and closely monitor the outcomes.

Proactively share and learn best practices from other industries that are relevant to the business.

Stay abreast of new tools, trends, and best practices in digital advertising; test and evaluate their efficacy in improving scale or effectiveness.


What youll need:

  • 5 to 6 yrs experience in Digital Marketing (Google & Facebook) for Campaign management & Optimization

  • E-commerce SEM &/or Social Channel (facebook) experience is strongly preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills (externally and internally at all levels)

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience with spreadsheet modeling and trend forecasting (superior Microsoft Excel skills a must)

  • Demonstrated experience working in a cross-functional team environment

  • Need to be self motivated and proactive.
