Today, Flipkarts Private brands are capturing the imaginations of Indian customers with their combination of affordability, quality and India-centric product design, filling previously unaddressed gaps in the Indian market. Their groundbreaking work has not gone unrewarded, with private brands performing very strongly in the festive season sales, particularly The Big Billion Days.

Role Summary:

  • The incumbent would be responsible to develop the brand architecture and brand strategy playbook

  • Own key success metrics and analyse performance

  • Handpick the right business partners ( creative agency / digital agency ) and build a strong relationship with them

  • Creative execution of the strategy through branding and communication

  • Extend brand imagery into the entire customer experience from merchandising, packaging, service to build a differentiated experience and create delight

  • Identify non traditional levers to activate the brand eg: Influencers, Events,Engagement

  • Build Cause Marketing as a key pillar of the the brand

  • Develop high impact pitch presentations/ AVs to bring the proposition alive with key stakeholders for developing a deep consumer understanding of triggers and barriers for of online shopping across categories

  • Deliver on business goals of GMV, units, share and traffic by building brand equity / recall, customer pull, traffic and conversions.

  • Independently leading, managing and delivering on key projects

Desired Background:

  • Candidates with an MBA in marketing.

  • 2 to 6 years of experience in Brand Management, Marketing, Communication. Experience in e-commerce will be an advantage but not mandatory.

  • Project & stakeholder management

  • Understanding of Brand positioning, Communication development, Digital & Social Marketing.

  • Creative (Copy & Visual) thinking & assessment

  • Category management will be an advantage
