Job Description
Fission Labs is seeking a Senior/Lead iOS Engineer to deliver high-end scalable solutions. An iOS Engineer who possesses a real passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work as a part of our talented engineers to design and build the next generation mobile applications for valley startups.
- Proven understanding of iOS technologies and development.
- Experience in object-oriented programming, design patterns, Data Structure, Algorithms.
- Understanding of server side and client side architecture.
- Professional in Objective C, multi-threading, exception handling, logging and monitoring with best practices
- Expertise in implementing Social API integration, Core location APIs, Web Views, APNS, In-App Purchase.
- Familiarity with XML, JSON, and REST-based APIs
- Should be a practitioner of test-driven development.
- Should have extensive experience in material designing guidelines.
- Strong experience optimizing code for application performance.
Your Role
Drive agile adoption process improvements, evangelize the agile mindset and be the problem solver for the team.
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Work with UX designers and Product Managers to design or implement solutions
Design as well as the development of assigned modules/features of the product
Conceptualize solutions and be involved in presales
What we look for/Skills
B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech / M.S / MCA graduate (preferably from a best-in-class college or University)
5-7 years of experience in developing well-architected software in dynamic environment
At least 4 iOS applications in App Store
Drive architecture and technology choices for the mobile products.
Comfortable working in product development environment, building version 1.0 from scratch.
Capable of making timely decisions while dealing with uncertainties & inadequate information.
Passion for technology, commitment to build products that dazzle and have fun doing it.
Nice to have
Experience in a startup environment / agile development environment a plus.
Excellent communicator, who loves to go to the whiteboard, to discuss problems and solutions
Technical Stack(Skill set)
iOS, Objective C, Swift, MapKit, Quartz Core, Core Animation, Store Kit, Cocoa Touch Libraries.
