Roles and Responsibilities: Participate in all aspects of QA product lifecycle: scoping, strategizing, test case creation and execution including feature, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality and user requirements. Identify, isolate and replicate software defects, research root causes, debug issues, and propose regression tests to discover reoccurrences. Collaborate with the teams to identify efficiencies and process improvements at all levels and automate routine tasks. Discuss architecture, integration, and design decisions both internally and with application development team. Drive, monitor, and review all documentation related to SQA and review activities throughout the project lifecycle Conduct manual testing to identify and report software defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution. Perform database testing to validate data integrity, consistency, and accuracy. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. Document and maintain test cases, test data, and test results for future reference. Participate in defect triage meetings, providing insights and recommendations to prioritize and address software issues. Proactively communicate test progress, test results, and potential risks to stakeholders, including project managers and development teams. Collaborate with the team to review and provide feedback on product requirements, specifications, and design documents. Qualifications and experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5 + years of total experience Proven experience as a Sr. QA engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle. Proficiency in writing test cases and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Experience in manual testing, with a meticulous attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results. Basic SQL knowledge and experience in conducting database testing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and articulate software defects effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems. Knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks is desirable but not mandatory.
