Vice President Fidelity Center for Advanced Technology (FCAT)

As head of FCAT India you will have an opportunity to satisfy your customer obsession leveraging cutting edge technologies. The role provides an opportunity to actively work on creating new businesses for Fidelity and work across the different Fidelity businesses to come up with transformational solutions that impact our customers financial wellbeing.

The Team and Role

FCAT India is responsible for exploring emerging technologies, delivering pilots and POCs that leverage these technologies to solve existing business problems and identify new business opportunities. We are looking for a visionary leader to Head the FCAT team In India. In this role you will be part of the India Leadership Team and will be reporting to the Head of FMR India. You will work closely with FCAT US Senior leadership team to drive the scope of work. You will manage a 30-50 member team based in India. You will also be responsible for managing the FMR India eco-system connect with Start-ups and academic institutions.

The Expertise You Have

• Experience in leading high value innovation and applied technology research teams
• 15+ years of experience in end-to-end technology solution delivery
• 7-10 years of experience in financial services
• Good understanding of emerging technologies and its applications
• Demonstrated Product Management capabilities including Business value articulation
• Ability to navigate between complex enterprise and start-up environments with grace and impact

• Ability to drive the strategy for innovation oriented research teams
• Stakeholder influencing and management capabilities
• Ability to translate customer empathy and industry understanding into Product vision
• Collaborative approach to co-create solutions with Business Units and External eco-system
• Risk taking appetite in terms of product investment and road-map and ability to operate in a fluid environment
• Strong leadership skills to encourage the team and cultivate an environment for the team to do their best work
• Penchant for effective storytelling; an appetite for constructive debate
• Creative view of markets and technologies combined with a passion to create the future
