Job Summary
- B.Sc. Environment / M.Sc. Environment / PG Diploma in Environment Health & Safety Management No. of Vacancies: 02
Experience- 02 to 05 years
Basic Requirement:
1. Maintaining legal documents related to Environment, health & safety
2. Maintaining safety equipments e.g. extinguishers, showers, SCBA Self Content Breathing Apparatus, oxygen meter, LEL meter
3. Conducting Safety Committee Meeting.
4. Arranging external training programme with the co ordination of P&A dept.
5. Incident/ Accident Management; investigation, root cause analysis and CAPA.
6. Plant round for the verification of safety & environmental appliance as per the legal requirement.
7. Authorizing various Work Permit i.e. hot work permit, Height work permit etc.
8. Treatment & disposal of various hazardous wastes generated during the process i.e. effluents, ETP sludge, spent carbon, distillation, residues, etc.
9. Submission of all returns to GPCB like form 4, Form V (environment statement), monthly patrak and water cess return.
10. Compliance of observation made by the GPCB authorities during their routine visit to plant.
11. Co-ordination with CETP, NECL & Cement Industry for co-processing Waste for disposal of effluent and solid waste.
12. Ensure disposal of wastes as per GPCB guideline.
13. Ensure analysis of waste water as per GPCB guideline.
14. Monthly plant safety audit, preparation of deficiencies and their compliances.
15. Compliances of observation and suggestion of safety committee meeting.
16. Compliance to the observation and suggestion of factory inspector and factory medical officer during their visit.
17. Ensure inspection of pressure vessels, safety valves lift and hoists and other equipment (as prescribed under Factories Act) as per schedule.
18. Monitoring & completing the legal compliance & requirement.
19. Maintain Environment audit documents and Coordination with Third Party Environment Auditors.
