Position summary:

As an innovative product in a fast moving industry, the position requires the ability to work very closely with the product owners and possess customer centric approach, to understand their requirements and to recognize importance of flexibility. To this end, the candidate must be moderately technical and have an excellent understanding of cutting edge test automation techniques.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional who will be responsible for Automation and contribute to Web/Mobile based Automation Testing and Maintenance of Framework based on Customer/Product Requirements.

It is desired that candidate should be strong in analyzing and understanding testing requirements and developing detailed test cases/test scenarios, Converting them in Automation Test scripts. Dynamic and assertive team player with a strong inclination to improve and optimize QA procedures and implementations.

Duties & accountabilities:

Work closely with Test Leads/ Senior Test Engineers to contribute towards successful delivery of releases.

Provide transparency to key stakeholders of testing progress, defects and risks.

Moderately good in Test Automation in Web/Mobile/API with tools such as Selenium/Appium/Rest Assured API in large scale projects.

Hands-on experience in Automating applications designed in SAaS platform with AWS cloud hosting and third party services like Elastic Search, rabbitmq, redis, Kafka, Periscope, mySQL having Monolithic and Micro-Services Application

Technical competencies:

Good Hands on with IDE of IntelliJ/Eclipse and expert in debugging the code snippets. Must have contributed towards constructing Automation Framework with Test Leads/ other SDETs

Intermediate level of understanding of code repository functioning and concepts of tools like Git, GitHub.

Good knowledge of build tools like Gradle/Maven.

Worked on Agile Methodologies with JIRA tool or any other.

Technical experience of writing and maintaining test automation code in Java/Rest Assured API/TestNG annotations using Selenium/Appium wrapper classes.

Good to have knowledge on providing continuous Integration with Integrating Build deployments using tools like Jenkins/CodeShip.

Good theoretical understanding of Hybrid Framework/Page Object Model/Excel Utilities & POI constructed using TDD or BDD Frameworks like Cucumber.

Intermediate level on Android UI Automator for locating mobile based objects. Proficient in extracting Dynamic xpath of both Web and Mobile.

Good to have working knowledge on Reporting tools like Allure/ Extent Reports

Hands on in different scripting languages such as Java Script, Python, PHP, Groovy is good to have.

Working Knowledge of Operating System of Linux and basics of shell commands is good to have.

Excellent cross-platform analysis and troubleshooting ability.Responsible for Functional testing and creating functional test data independently.
