Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related field
Minimum of 7 years of industry experience in machine learning and/or data science.
Expert knowledge in machine learning algorithms and processes (such as xgboost, neural networks, hyperparameter tuning, clustering, graph algorithms)
Experience in modern language models (e.g. Transformers) with a strong preference for use of generative AI models (GPT APIs, Fine Tunings, Reinforcement Learning) applied to code translation/generation, recommendation engines etc.
Expert knowledge in Python (e.g., pandas, numpy, sklearn, pytorch), Pyspark and experience in large-scale data processing, distributed computing, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
Proven track record for leading and executing complex modeling/machine learning projects and new product development from concept to final delivery.
Excellent problem-solving skills, independent analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects of significant complexity.
