About this Role

Head of Procurement and Carrier Relationships is a senior management role where you will be reporting to the COO of the company. You will be responsible for strategic business decisions and will own the margin line for the entire organisation

KRA

• Set & Build CoE around infrastructure and procurement standards with a focus on operational and commercial excellence
• Ensure best quality pipes and infrastructure from operators and other vendors
• Ensure best in industry rates across all procurements
• Ensure company targets for contribution margin and gross margin across different products
• Create best in the class procurement process and stands for the company focussing on financial excellence
• Ensure processes from procuring to pay are implemented as per accounting guidelines
• Ensure reconciliation from cost estimate to actuals process is followed end to end
• Reduce the company's operational unpredictability by reducing regulatory, vendors and other stakeholder related risks
• Ensure vendor agreements are in sync with ISO/GDPR standards
• Ensure regulatory compliance wrt the business processes

What will you do?

• Develop, hone and execute new procurement strategies across all channels of purchasing
• Manage every aspect of the supply chain and notify the senior management team of any possible obstacles to ideal efficiency
• Institute policies and procedures for collecting and reporting key metrics that will reduce our overall expenses while increasing productivity
• Perform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks
• Coordinate expansions or delivery for all telecom infrastructure
• Create policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure reliable infrastructure at minimal cost
• Ensure setting up and tracking of SLA tracking for the vendors
• Responsible for company level margins for different product streams

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor s Degree in Business or Accounting required (MBA preferred)
• 8+ years experience in procurement or purchasing
• 3+ years of experience with enterprise telecom procurement
• Strong understanding of financial metrics
• Excellent managerial and training skills
• 5+ year experience in leading mid-sized teams
