Job Summary
Roles and Responsibilities
- To assemble raw videos into a finished project that matches clients requirements and is suitable for end users.
- Take a brief from Content Analyst/IDs needs and specifications.
- Trim video segments and put together in the logical sequence of the final video.
- Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industrys best practices to maximize efficiency.
- Ultimately, a Video Editor should be able to bring video and sound together in order to tell a cohesive storyline.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Impressive presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Some experience of using video and editing equipment.
- Excellent command over MS PowerPoint.
- Creative thinker.
- Knowledge and a good understanding of motion graphics is preferred.
