Job Summary

Database installation, configuration, management need to be done.

Good exposer for defining database architecture.

Performing upgrades of the database and software to new release levels.

Managing the storage structures of the database.

Managing users and security.

Managing database objects, such as tables, indexes, and views.

Backing up the database and performing recovery operations when necessary.

Good hands on Knowledge in Linux, HP-UX, SUSE, AIX, and Windows as per the oracle requirements.

Monitoring the state of the database and taking preventive or corrective action as required.

Good Hands-on experience for Performance tuning of database.

Strong experience in upgrade, patching in environments.

Performance Tuning Query, Instance, Database, I/O, handing long running queries.

Hands on experience replication and HADR activities.

Work with Systems, Storage, Network & Backup teams in setting up environments or issue resolution.

Well knowledge of Multi DB platform.

Ability to lead team technically in terms of database deliverables SLA management, scheduled task management, outage management.

Willing to work on multi database platform.

Mandatory requirement to have experience on other database technology as well.

Ready to work on 24/7.

Ready to work on holiday/ in critical situations.

Experience Required :
