Job Summary
Preparation and review of US federal and state corporate income tax returns Responsible for all other tax compliances and matters Advise on relevant US cross border issues Communicate with Internal Revenue Service and state tax authorities Be part of a team to determine the most relevant US corporate structure for tax purposes Research and advise on other US corporate tax matters Planning and participating in engagements involving corporate reorganizations, strategies, tax compliance (corporate), and other consulting Supervision and review of the compliance work of more junior team members Coaching more junior global Tax team members Proactively working with the team to develop tax advice and solutions to clients and prospective clients to expand the business Contributing to Escalons business development and branding strategies Able to provide persuasive and self-assured responses to challenging questions Being part of a leadership team who meets with and presents to current and prospective clients CPA preferred; EA, Bachelors in Taxation/Commerce 8-10 years of US corporate tax experience & minimum 3 years of managerial experience in taxation of managing a team of 3-5 people Commitment to exceptional client service Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to be an active participant in the development of the US Tax team Demonstrated desire for technical and professional development and to be an integral part of a high-performing team of professionals Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to listen effectively and understand clients needs Strong research skills and significant experience with writing technical memos. Proficient in Microsoft excel, go-systems, case ware, checkpoint, BNA
Manager US Tax
Candidate will play a leadership role at the Global Tax Services (GTS). He would be reporting in to the Director of India operations and Head of Global Delivery in US and need to build and lead a team of GTS Professionals.
