EY-Advisory Anaplan Senior Consultant

The opportunity

Were looking for Senior Consultantwith expertise in Anaplan solutionArchitects to join the leadership group of our consulting Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leadingfirm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.

Your key responsibilities

• Leadfinancial planning, forecasting, and analysis (FP&A) project work streams atlarge banks and/or insurance companies.

• Deliverhigh quality client solutions that meet and exceed client and EY expectationsand are delivered on-time and on-budget.

• Manageclient solution delivery, including defining project approach, leading andmotivating project teams, monitoring and managing project risks, managingclient and EY key stakeholders, and successfully delivering client solutions.

• Identifyingnew business opportunities, including building strong client relations,understanding client needs and EY solution offerings, communicating clientopportunities to EY leadership, and helping develop client opportunities.

• FP&Aexperience, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting (e.g.,income statement forecasting, balance sheet forecasting, capital forecasting,aggregation, driver-based forecasting)

• Financialservices industry experience (e.g., retail banking, commercial banking, capitalmarkets, life insurance, property and casualty insurance) Preferred but notrequired

• Otherbeneficial experience includes:

  • Planning, such as strategic planning and enterpriseperformance management.

  • Forecasting, such as financial forecast modeling(e.g., by product, investments, liabilities), stress forecasting, governance,controls, and data and technologies.

  • Reporting, such as regulatory reporting,profitability reporting, performance metrics, kpis, drivers

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Minimumof 4 years of experience in the banking and/or insurance industry

• Minimumof 4 years of consulting experience, providing advisory services. Financialplanning and analysis (FP&A) and management reporting areas preferred.

• orMinimum of 5 years industry experience with Financial planning and analysis(FP&A) and management reporting.

• Level3 Model Builder Certification

• MasterAna planner Certificate - Preferred

• AnaplanSolution architect or Master Anaplanner certification and/or significant workexperience driving development using Anaplan in complex business environments -Preferred

• Abilityto configure and maintain Anaplan lists, modules, dashboards, actions and othermodel settings

• Stronghands-on experience building and supporting complex forecast and planningmodels

• Strongexpertise and deep understanding of multi-dimensional modeling

• Abilityto translate from model-building in Excel to multi-dimensional technologies.

• Experiencewith full system implementation life-cycles (analyze, design, build, test,implement, support)

• Expertskills of Excel spreadsheet modeling, macros, pivot tables, formulas, chartsetc.

• Technicaldesign and development experience using various use cases preferred

• Partnerwith cross-functional teams to identify needs, understand existing models, andtranslate that info into efficiently-built Anaplan models.

• Experiencewith Financial Forecasting

• Experienceoverseeing model build activities for multiple work streams while working withclient team(s)

Ideally, youll also have

• Engagingwith business partners and IT to understand requirements from various parts of anorganization to drive the design, programming execution, and UAT for futurestate capabilities within the platform.

• Workingin a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple projects andstrict deadlines

• Goodunderstanding of outsourcing and off shoring, building win/win strategies andcontracts with suppliers

• Experiencewith Workday, Oracle FAH, or Oracle PCMCS

• Experienceusing Anaplan Connect

• Experiencewith MuleSoft or similar software, especially in conjunction with Anaplan

• Experiencewith Tableau or similar software, especially in conjunction with Anaplan

• Experiencewith Oracle Hyperion, SAP BPC or IBM TM1

• Integrationdevelopment to/from other systems

• Consulting experience, including assessments and implementations

• Experience leading finance / FP&A work stream efforts

• Documenting requirements and processes (e.g., process flows)

• Working collaboratively in a team environment

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Willingness to travel 50% or more

• B.A. / B.S. degree required.

• MBA and/or professional certification (e.g. CPA, CFA) preferred.

• Industry licenses (e.g., banking, insurance) a plus.
