Job Summary

The objective of this role is to ensure quality compliance and process improvement for EY GDS Japan and MENA region for all Service Lines in accordance with international quality standards, Leadership/Client requirements and EY Global policies.

The PQA Manager is responsible for understanding the Service Line/Sub Service Line needs and requirements to provide a vision to the team of Quality analysts who in turn would manage organizing, planning, executing day to day quality related operations of Service Lines/Sub Service Lines within the EY GDS team including compliance checks; creating awareness; mentoring process improvement projects and coordination with various support functions within the organization.

The PQA Manager is responsible for devising and reviewing specifications for processes to be followed and planning to monitor compliance.

Your client responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Ensuring that the team is aligned with the vision of the organization

  • Must fully understand the requirements of the Service Lines/Sub Service Lines and drive the team to meet and exceed goals

  • Must have a sense of responsibility towards our potential and existing customers

  • Must proactively identify potential risks and prepare and execute mitigation plans

  • Must guide the team in planning QA audits to ensure compliance to process

  • Ensure MENA entity is fully compliant to process specific, team specific and EY Global policies and requirements

  • Proactively develop and implement quality policies and procedures to ensure compliance and risk-free operations

  • Recruit, train and mentor the team to deliver highest quality output

  • Updating Service Line management/clients with regular reports and dashboards

Performance measures:

  • Zero NC reported in external compliance audits

  • Timely and sufficient quality reviews

  • 100% compliance on standards

  • Timely feedback survey initiation and reporting

  • Ensure highest customer satisfaction

  • Increase quality of deliverables from GDS MENA

  • Continuous improvement of processes

  • Meeting and exceeding Automation targets

Your people responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the team is aware of and compliant to all mandatory requirements

  • Mentor the team and ensure that each team member performs at an optimum level

  • Reward performers

  • Coach and improve the performance of the outliers

Requirements (Qualifications)

We are looking for the candidates with the following: (Qualifications)

  • Graduate/Post Graduate

  • Proven experience as quality manager

  • Exposure to Transaction Monitoring, Process Improvement projects, Risk management and information security concepts

  • A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills

  • Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9000 etc.)
