Job Summary
About this Opportunity: As a Solution Architect at Ericsson, you will play a key role in analyzing, designing, and developing technical solutions that align with both customer specifications and business needs. Your expertise will be crucial in creating both short- and long-term profitable business strategies for Ericsson. In this role, you will work closely with the Core 3 team to translate customer requirements and technology opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions, and proposals. Required Skills: Technical Expertise in C/C++ Development: Strong knowledge in C/C++ development using object-oriented methodologies, Pointers, and STL concepts. Experience in developing and deploying CPP components. Version Control: Comfortable with source code control systems, preferably CVS or GIT. Scripting: Hands-on experience with Power/Shell scripting. Platforms: Experience with Linux, UNIX, Solaris, and Windows platforms. Basic knowledge of Oracle/SQL databases. Methodology: Exposure to Agile methodology for software development. Telecom Knowledge: Working knowledge of the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). Understanding of telecom fundamentals. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Learning & Flexibility: Willingness and flexibility to learn new programs and technologies as required. 2. Platform Management: Handle different platforms such as Linux, Unix, Windows, and Solaris. 3. Best Practices & Quality Control: Drive best practices, quality, and consistency during the design and development phases. 4. Development Support: Provide direct support to the Development Manager as needed. 5. Software Development: Develop, test, implement, and maintain application software, working with established processes. 6. Testing & Validation: Develop and execute unit test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of the software. Why Join Ericsson?
