Role and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Acting as a lead for a team of junior resources, providing mentorship and guidance as needed
• Handling all business and client communication
• Weekly status meetings with onshore manager
• Coordination with Business Analyst and Onsite Coordinators
• Gathering requirement information and preparing design documents for enhancements
• Resolving various trouble tickets, suggesting and implementing solutions
• Running UAT batches for various testing
• Refreshing AS400 environment as per requirement
• Analyzing and planning enhancements according to client requirements
• Coordinating with clients and On-site Coordinators on various issues
• Monitoring ticket backlog sheet and taking follow-ups with clients
• Performing self and peer code review before promoting code to production

Candidate Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and IT
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience in RPG, RPGLE, ILE, CL, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, free format, stored procedure, and webservices (iSeries)
• Experience with tools such as SDA, DFU, RLU, PDM, SEU, SQL, QUERY, DBU
• Experience with DB2 database and OS/400 operating system
• Experience with issue tracking tools such as JIRA, HP ALM and product implementation tools such as Aldon, Implementer
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Required Skills:

• Expertise in RPG, RPGLE, ILE, CL, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, free format, stored procedure, and webservices (iSeries)
• Proficiency in SDA, DFU, RLU, PDM, SEU, SQL, QUERY, and DBU
• Strong analytical skills and ability to write complex SQL queries
