Job Description
We are looking for passionate Junior/ Senior Technical Writer's who are well versed in understanding and preparing technical documents. They will be part of an Agile development team responsible for building innovative, high performance, scalable web applications using modern web technologies and techniques. You will have an opportunity to grow your skills in cutting edge technology.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents, including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
- Gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality.
- Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
- Work with product managers, product marketing, and engineers to produce and maintain world-class documentation, including: User Guides, Integration Guides, API Developer Guides, In platform documentation (tooltips, welcome instructions, etc.).
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
- Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
- Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
- Create and maintain the information architecture
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
- Portfolio of work and/or writing samples
- Strong written and verbal communications and experience working with content in multiple mediums
- Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
- Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
- Excellent written skills in English
- Experience working with the following tools preferred: Confluence, AzureDevOps, Microsoft Office Products
- Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
- Experience creating infographics such as diagrams, screenshots, workflows, graphs, etc., a plus
