Job Summary

Sample responsibilities for this position include:

Perform Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) following the Quality Network ProcessReviewing supplier manufacturing processes and quality systemsDetermining root cause of supplier quality problems and implementing timely and effective quality solutionsImproving quality performance of suppliers by conducting workshops at supplier locations, providing technical assistance in developing a robust quality system, or other technical support as requiredSupervise and lead Quality team to be problem solving leaders within the plantDocuments and obtains sign-offs of high quality requirements, requests and system change requests specific to new development, initiative or maintenance requests for the Cards Supplier SystemsActive participation on all regular Continuous Improvement calls, meetings, WebEx s, , with suppliers working closely with GSM Quality teamAssuring supplier understanding of product and APQP submission requirementsReviewing and approving supplier quality plans on new part programsSupport Continuous Improvement and coach problem resolution to the lowest level of the organization, within Ford and the supply-base
