Job Summary

Position Summary: Responsible for checking sizing/selection, commercial pricing, quotation and on time quotation submission to sales channels and/or customers for IND products, mainly regulators, Tank top and Steam products. Responsible for best cost solutions and lead times to increase win rate Consults with Sales team on technical and pricing issues. Provide support to Sales to close orders to meet the monthly sales target. Responsible for technical support to sales channels, customers and internal teams (sales, PMO, SOM, etc.) Provide Product Training to LBP, customers & EMR sales team and support LCS manager on LCS initiatives and activities Review / guide DAF from LBPs and determine margins to enable sales managers to decide on discount approvals. Guide & train LBP in preparing Order Processing Sheet to SOM for order entry into SAP, Oracle or similar systems Supports LBP s and Sales team for conducting customer events. Builds good working relationships with Internal and External customers. Pre-Order Support: Engages Marketing and Business Development teams for proposing differentiated solution to customer for both LCS and project opportunities. Perform sizing/selection checks and pricing using relevant sizing tools such as FF2 and other tools and determine best cost solutions to increase win rate Coordinate with application experts in AP and other world areas as necessary for special applications and operations / factories for best delivery. Provide timely and accurate quotation and technical support to customers, sales channel and our internal teams (Sales, PMO, SOM, etc.) Validate testing requirements and quality checks against our quotation and our capabilities. Provide technical deviations summary as necessary in line with our capabilities and customer/LBP requirements. Create awareness to customers the benefits of our offerings. Generate weekly and monthly quote tracker reports as necessary for business reviews. Post Order Support Provide technical and commercial clarifications to SOM when needed for timely processing of LBP/customer PO into system Co-ordinate with Quality team for Inspection and Test Plan when needed Assist SOM team in verifying technical & commercial aspects against quotation and highlight any discrepancies needed Provide technical support to SOM team when needed for timely placement of purchase orders / change orders to factories. Provide technical support to field service team as and when requested or escalation through LBP for timely resolution of customer complaints Attend to complaint and use CRMOD for registering the complaints and resolving them Basic Qualifications : Minimum requirement : Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation or Chemical Prior work experience of 2+ years in sizing and selection of control valves or regulators is an advantage Basic knowledge of SAP Good business sense and negotiation capabilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially influencing skills Relationships : Reports to Regional Sales Leader PRM SEAT Good teamwork with Sales teams and sales channels Extensive interaction with PMO, SOM, Operations, and Service teams
