Job Summary

About the role:

  • Growing the Business development team efficiently and new client acquisitions, renewing existing clients and identifying new business development opportunities
  • Leading the Business team and formulating targets & incentive plans for the team in line with the city s operating plans
  • Responsible for all aspects of business development strategy, planning and execution
  • Building and growing the local business development team via recruitment and training
  • Creating a culture of consistent work process improvement
  • Working closely with the Business Development Head and senior management and strategizing on how to ensure continual efforts to crack the market

Here's what we're looking for:

People who have 5+ years of relevant work experience B2B sales experience and familiarity with Internet space is preferred

  • Proven track record of setting and achieving targets along with formulating incentive plans
  • Prior experience of sales or Business Development in Chennai Market.
  • Prior team management experience is a must
  • Start-up acumen along with strong work ethics, willingness to get hands dirty and get stuff done
  • Good business judgment, prioritization, focus and ability to make decisions while working in a highly charged environment
  • Great articulation skills and clarity of thought
  • Should know English and Hindi is a plus
