Job Summary Job Analysis: Engineer / Senior Engineer - Fluid Filtration & Separation (FFS) Key Responsibilities CFD Testing: Conduct CFD testing for optimization of new product designs. Analysis & Feedback: Analyze CFD results and provide feedback to design engineers. CFD Support: Provide CFD support for existing products and improvement activities. Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation related to CFD testing and results. Required Skills and Qualifications Educational Background: B.E Mechanical Engineer. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in fluid filtration and separation systems. Knowledge: Understanding of compressor, separator systems, oil filtration systems, and hydraulic systems. Certifications: ASME certification is a plus. Task Analysis CFD Testing: Collect and study new product information. Review design and test specifications. Create computational models using appropriate software. Conduct CFD analysis (static and dynamic). Incorporate relevant aspects (geometry, manufacturing, material, process, assembly). Execute simulation (pre-processing, setup, initial cases). Carry out calculations to quantify flow behavior and predict temperature distribution. Optimize fluid flow and fluid-structure interaction models. Manage assigned tasks and resources. CFD Analysis & Feedback: Analyze CFD results for feasibility and improvement. Communicate results to the design team. Provide design recommendations. Work with design engineers to clarify or resolve problems. Update geometry/mesh and run additional cases. CFD Support: Develop approaches and procedures for testing and validating computational models. Utilize CFD to identify cost savings and quality improvements. Conduct CFD analysis for real-time problems and warranty procedures. Documentation: Document analysis objectives, conclusions, results, and assumptions. Create technical CFD presentations and reports. Maintain accurate file structure for project documentation. Prepare senior management presentations. Stay updated on technological changes and developments.
