Associate Project Manager, Cloud Operations Job in Egain Corporation

Duties/Responsibilities

• The primary responsibility is to interface with an OEM Partner and ensure that the partners needs are managed, and a relationship is maintained in good status. Achievement of this collective OEM interface requires working with all stakeholders including attending and participating in frequent partner meetings
• A key component of this work is to closely track the progress of development and QA activities to provide clear visibility of current status and future internal risk
• Help to develop concise Release Management and Project Management processes and best practices. Convey the importance of these practices to the teams thus getting buy-in from stakeholder
• A secondary but important responsibility is to manage and drive eGain centric products and to provide coverage to other Project Managers as needed
• Requires some travel as needed to have direct face to face interactions with the OEMs as well as cross geography team

Education and Experience

• Bachelor s / master s degree in engineering or computer sciences
• Formal project management training and certification such as PMP or Prince2 practitioner will be an added advantage
• At least 2-3 years of work experience in project management or similar role and/or have an overall Cloud Operations related work experience of 4-6 years
• Experienced in working with Remote Globally Dispersed Teams
• Track record in customer relationship across different geographies
• Familiarity with technical aspects of web applications and some hands-on experience in Java/J2EE or related web technologies will be preferred
• Experienced in working end to end in the entire Software Development Life Cycle
• Experienced in overseeing the implementation and integration of Client-Server solutions in customer environments
