Responsibilities:

  • Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts
  • Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
  • Integrate software components and third-party programs
  • Verify and deploy programs and systems
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
  • Gather and evaluate user feedback
  • Recommend and execute improvements
  • Create technical documentation for reference and reporting


    • Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role
  • Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
  • Experience in Web Development: HTML, JavaScript, JSON, C#.NET
  • Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. Hibernate)
  • Ability to learn new languages and technologies
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Experience with SSRS
  • Experience in GIS especially ArcGIS 10.x products including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server and Arc SDE on SQL Server, ArcGIS administration and configuration
  • Experience with ESRI ArcGIS development tools including Python coding, toolboxes, Model Builder, ESRI REST geoprocessing services, ESRI ArcGIS JavaScript API
  • Developing in an enterprise GIS environment using ESRI technology
  • Application development or programming including .NET, JavaScript, Arc Objects
  • Experience of supporting/troubleshooting and data integration processes (using REST and SOAP web services)
  • Experience with programming, testing, debugging, and documenting applications
  • Developing GIS web Applications (IOS, Desktop & Mobile)
  • Programming Languages and Libraries: C#, ASP.Net (Web Forms + MVC), Java Script, XML/XSLT, HTML/XHTML, SQL
  • Prepare and execute queries in spatial and non-spatial databases using SQL
  • Awareness of Android, IOS & Windows 10 APIs
