Job Summary
Job Title: Senior Automation QA Tester Job Location: Pune Experience: 5+ years of experience as QA Tester in testing Web and mobile apps Roles & Responsibilities:
- Analyze and clarify requirements based on business processes
- Write test cases (test scripts)
- Conduct functional testing, considering UX
- Identify problem areas, add them to a tracking system
- Discuss fixes with developers
- Optimize the testing process
- Write automation scripts and implement software applications
- Provide steps and screenshots for creation of user manuals
- Platform or device requirement where the application is meant to run by end users
- Expertise in creation of test scripts
- Well versed with agile, DevOps and continuous delivery
- Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols
- Familiarity with types of testing like Regress, Data driven, Mobile, Cross browser Testing
- Should be aware of Version controlling tools such as SVN, GIT, AWS code commit, Mercurial
- Experience with testing on-line payments gateways, Payment Gateway: Stripe, Paypal, Authorize.net, Google Checkout, CCAVANUE
- Basic understanding of programming concepts and languages
- Automation testing tools: TestComplete, Katalon Studio, and Ranorex, Selenium
- Defect Tracking tool ((BugZilla, BugTracker, Mantis, IBM Rational ClearQuest)
- MS Excel or Test Studio to write large sets of test cases
- API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, Katalon) for automated checks. Usage of predefined snippets to automate API testing without the need to write code to test the API
- Knowledge of UNIX/LINUX, AWS, Linode etc.
