Job Summary Summary The Sr. SAP BASIS Administrator will be a technical member of the SAP basis team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in comprehensive SAP technologies: overall technical aspects of SAP Basis, SAP ECC, CRM, GTS PI/XI, BI/BW, S4, DB HANA, SOLMAN, SAP ABAP, SAP NetWeaver, SLT, SAP Fiori, SAP Web Dispatcher, SSO Solution, SAP Data Services. The SAP Basis Administrator will help organize and execute day-to-day SAP project activities, adhere to SAP best practices, and align the project s Ecolab standards and procedures. Operationalize reparative tasks, lead potential automation efforts, generate SOP s, maintain documentation, perform installation, troubleshoot administration, and monitoring tasks of the SAP systems Responsibilities
  • Install and configure SAP systems.
  • Monitor and maintain Ecolab s SAP instance.
  • Own the SAP Ecolab s instance s administrative activities and lead teams to troubleshoot application performance and other business-critical issues.
  • Troubleshoot the issues from all tier of SAP application, including work 3rd party connected applications, proactivity checking OSS notes, providing performance analysis, and suggesting solutions to write the Root Cause Analysis.
  • Performance optimization and tuning: deep experience with SQL traces to achieve Performance Impact Analysis.
  • Monitoring SAP ecosystem, systems Logs, Work processes overview, Lock entries, updates, background jobs, overall system health check, and Azure-based system.
  • System refresh tasks, Client copies, archiving, system build, decommission.
Basic Qualification
  • 7+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator with recent technologies with SoH, BW/H, HANA SDI, SLT S/4 and overall 10 years of experience in SAP Basis, including 3 years in Public or Private Cloud
  • Deep knowledge of SAP Basis tasks: technical planning, installations and configurations, upgrades, OS/DB migrations, Unicode conversions for SAP NetWeaver platform, SSO configuration, and installation of SSL certificates
  • Familiar with Linux/AIX and ORACLE, HANA space management, and elaborating the SAP release plan.
  • Early Watch configuration and analysis experience
  • Experience in Integrations and monitoring integrations for failures
  • Knowledge of Cloud Connector, Web Dispatcher, FIORI, SAP Data Services
  • Deep understanding of SAP HANA in-memory Platform core technology, including architecture, landscape design, installation, upgrades, performance tuning, and system integrations
  • Hands-on experience in implementation and conversion of SAP systems.
  • Experience in SAP Sizing by using the SAP Quicksizer and SAP Data Archiving
  • Network security design based on SAP products and Azure write Operational procedures
  • Skills on Linux are required, Redhat OS preferred
  • ITIL Process
  • Strong scripting skills is a plus
  • Proficiency in oral and written English
Preferred Qualification
  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science and related field
  • Certification in SAP BASIS
  • Any public cloud certification highly beneficial
  • SAP BASIS/NetWeaver certification
  • Agile Framework
