Job Summary
Summary The Full stack developer will be a key member of the Digital Development team based in Ecolab Development Center, Bangalore, India. This position will work with the latest cloud-based web and mobile solutions. This position works closely with technical leads, solution architects and product owners from Digital Development team to deliver value through scalable and sustainable solutions. What you will do
- Work with product owners, team leads and solution architects to define and clarify requirements
- Hands-on development with both front-end and back-end programming
- Ability to break down complex requirements into specific work items
- Implement and carry out unit testing
- Work with DevOps team to ensure product can be automatically built, deployed and tested using a CI/CD pipelines across all of the release cycles from dev to production
- Strong grasp of modern security principles and how to apply them to applications
- Stay current on the technology, tools, and approaches in the Azure cloud, web and mobile development space
- Solve complex problems and develop proofs of concept to validate ideas or technologies
- Identify and mitigate risks which make up the overall solution
- Degree in Computer Science, technical field or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of experience building RESTful web services using NodeJS, ExpressJS or restify
- 3+ years of experience in web application development using JavaScript and JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as Angular, React
- Have a strong understanding JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, JSON and REST based applications
- Experience/Familiarity with RDBMS or NoSQL Database technologies like MongoDB, ComosDB or MS SQL
- Experience with Unit Testing Frameworks like Ava, Mocha and Jasmine
- Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git or Visual Studio Team Services
- Proven ability to develop resilient code that performs, and scales based on application usage
- Understanding of building applications deployed in the cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) leveraging PaaS Services
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a global, diverse teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in writing code using Object Oriented JavaScript.
- Experience in implementing CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code.
- Experience in JS-based build /Package tools like Grunt, Gulp, Bower, Webpack and NPM.
- Experience with GraphQL
- Experience developing mobile solutions with Xamarin
- Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving orientation
