Job Summary Summary The Lead Solution Architect will be a key member of the Digital Development team based in Ecolab Digital Center, Bangalore, India. The Lead Architect will act as SME and trusted advisor to EDC engineering team, solution managers and senior leadership team by establishing credibility and expertise in technology solution offerings. In addition, he/she will hire, train solution/technical architects to support delivery of digital solutions. This position and the team will work with the latest cloud-based, web and mobile solutions. This position and the team provide technical leadership and that will enhance the capabilities of the digital development team.This position works closely with the business and Enterprise Architecture and Commercial Digital Solutions team to deliver value through scalable and sustainable solutions. What you will do:
  • Identify opportunities and define plans to grow and accelerate Ecolab s digital transformation journey.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture team in defining technology roadmap
  • Ensure that Architecture/Design are secure and meets industry standards on Cyber Security.
  • Hire, train and mentor solution/technical architects to build technical architecture strength
  • Work with solution architects, enterprise architects, technical and business product owners to define the architecture, roadmap and standards for solutions
  • Provide architecture thought leadership and actively participate in the design, implementation and roll-out efforts.
  • Stay current on the technology, tools, and approaches in the cloud, web and mobile development space
  • Solve complex problems and develops proofs of concept to validate ideas or technologies
  • Architect and design cloud-based solutions to meet global business needs
  • Provide technical direction to web and mobile technologists to design, build and implement solutions
  • Identify and mitigate risks which make up the overall solution
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor s and/or Master s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Proficiency in a broad set of information technology tools, methods and architectures, architecture expertise in multiple application platforms, an understanding of current and future technical applications and architectures being driven by industry.
  • Establish the standard of excellence throughout the EDC solutions stack and collaborate with key personnel in all areas to ensure that it is followed.
  • Experience in IOT connected solutions including hardware, software, networking, and data management.
  • 12+ years of experience in Information Technology
  • 5+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and deploying solutions on various Mobile technologies native and hybrid, Web technologies like react and angular.
  • 3+ years of experience of building and leading teams
  • Experience in Designing Cloud native solutions on Azure/AWS platforms.
  • Experience in web application development using JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as Angular, React, etc.
  • Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills
  • Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in designing and developing service-based architecture
  • Experience with data acquisition, streaming and storage.
  • Experience in user interface (UX/UI) design and implementation.
  • Industry leading Architecture certifications based on area of expertise and focus.
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving orientation
  • Can manage multiple competing projects at the same time
  • Strong customer focus and ability to work in a team
