English-hindi Translator Job in Ebhasha Setu

JOB SPECIFICATION

• Proficiency in English and Hindi is mandatory for the Translator with special reference to translation.
• The Translator should have good understanding of both the languages i.e. English and Hindi.
• Bachelor or Master Degree in any discipline. (English/Hindi/Translation Studies/Linguistics graduate would be preferred).
• Educational qualification is not a bar to the candidates who have expertise and/or experience in the field of translation.

• Depending upon the source language contents, translation task would preferably be performed by a translator on machine translated output rather than purely human tranlation.
• Translators would need to work on content primarily ranging across topics like Legal, Media, Technical, Text/Scripts for digital video being used on the website/social etc.
• Candidate who has professional excellence in 'Legal' translation rather than general domain would be preferred.

• Translators are expected to work on an average daily output of 1500 to 2,000 words for reviewers.
