About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior Android Developer, you will play a key role in designing and developing cutting-edge Android applications that deliver an exceptional user experience. Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications. 2. Architect, design, and develop scalable and robust Android applications using the latest technologies and industry best practices. 3. Lead the end-to-end development process, including coding, testing, debugging, and deployment of Android applications. 4. Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to established coding standards. 5. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth and efficient user experience. 6. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Android development and proactively propose innovative ideas and solutions. 7. Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical expertise and fostering their professional growth. 8. Collaborate with the QA team to ensure comprehensive test coverage and resolve any reported bugs or issues. 9. Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings. Position requirements: 1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 2. Proven experience of 5 years working as an Android Developer, with a focus on building complex and scalable applications. 3. Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages. 4. Extensive knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related tools and technologies. 5. Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices. 6. Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services integration. 7. Proficiency in version control systems such as Git. 8. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in a collaborative team environment. 9. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and optimize code for performance and reliability. 10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 11. A portfolio of previous Android applications developed, showcasing your technical skills and creativity, is highly desirable.
