Roles and Responsibilities

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Requirements gathering and scope definition with non-technical business user constituencies.
  • Strong functional understanding of the systems supported and the development framework for customizations.
  • The ability to interview various non-technical managers to understand complex, dynamic business rules/processes and then create detailed, specific, and comprehensive documentation.
  • Engage business users spanning multiple business units and ensure cohesive articulation of business goals and processes to ensure effective technology solutions.
  • Engage business users to support all necessary clarification for the Project Team, Developer Team, and Production Support Team to design and implement an effective solution.
  • Expert understanding and ability to analyze and query application data schema.
  • Manage components of a project plan or entire small-scale projects.
  • Strong functional understanding of the systems supported and the development framework for customizations.
  • Verification of feasibility of Business Users requests functionality and business rules based on existing technical systems and data structures.
  • Ability to create and present key requirements artifacts without direct supervision.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills:

  • Experience level: 7+ years
  • Thorough knowledge of Oracle Financials is mandatory: AP, AR, CM, GL
  • Treasury knowledge is preferable (secondary skill)
  • Knowledge of O2C, P2P is preferred.
  • The candidate should be able to handle the client, the CRPs, the UATs etc.

Excellent communication skills

  • Exceptional analytical skills required to analyze requirements, identify improvements in business processes, and write functional/technical requirements.
  • Experience in testing functionality against business requirements.
  • Knowledge of Project and Software Development Life Cycle Methodologies.
  • Experience with global system implementations and engaging with multiple business units
  • Project management experience and proficiency with PM methodology.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines.
  • Able to effectively lead and motivate small project teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
