About the Role:

What is Dunzo D4B?

Dunzo D4B is an on-demand logistic service for small and medium businesses. We are a B2B2C platform helping small merchants expand their business by reaching out to their consumers directly.

Local businesses which need intra city logistics either to move goods between their shops/ locations, send products/ goods to their clients/ consumers or need to transfer their documents between their stakeholders. It is currently being used by 8000 SMEs ranging from grocery stores to laundry merchants to insurance companies to lawyers and CAs.

Dunzo D4B is not a last mile B2B service provider which facilitates multiple drop points from single pickup. It is not aimed at e-Commerce players who are looking for last mile logistics services.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy and Execution
    • Define the city merchant acquisition strategy - industry x geography x size
    • Manage teams sales functions
      • Manage the Inside Sales team focusing on inbound and digital marketing leads
      • Manage the City Field Sales team for signing and acquiring SMEs
    • Keep a close eye on the competitive landscape and ensure market share is consistently growing within the D4B category
    • Work closely with the supply team to plan for D4B deliveries for festivals/ events like Valentine's Day etc
    • Work with D4B central team on city pricing plans to balance growth and sustainability

  • Account Management and Client Support
    • Work closely with community operations team to ensure D4B customers are provided best in class customer support
    • Ensure quick issue resolution through necessary interventions and escalations

  • D4B Orders completed every week
  • D4B Merchants active every week
  • New D4B merchant activated per week
  • D4B Merchant W4 Retention Rate
  • D4B City Unit Economics
  • D4B City Working Capital Management

Qualifications / Skills required :

  • BE / BTech / BSc / Bcom / BA or equivalent bachelor's degree; MBA from Tier 3/4 colleges preferred but not a must
  • Proficiency in Telugu would be an added advantage.
  • Experience in managing sales teams across multiple geographies - team sizes exceeding 10
  • Preferable experience in Telecom, FMCG or e-commerce marketplaces
  • Problem solving skills in constrained environments
  • An innate desire to win!
