Job Description

The mission of the Senior Technology Consultant is to work closely with customers and provide solutions to enable them to achieve their goals. Our consultants are client facing, they have delivery responsibilities, and provide subject matter expertise. Ideal candidates for this position have experience solving problems, are very comfortable learning and using new technologies on the job, work well within teams, and are able to deliver quality results within budget and time constraints. The contribution of this role is met primarily through the maintenance of quality of service to our customers.

Responsiblity of the role:

• Deliver billable client work as a member of a project team
• Able to work well as a member of a project team and independently
• Manage kubernetes, docker containers deployment in AWS cloud
• Deploy statistical computing environments, and related software on multiple servers
• Monitor, maintain, configure the client IT hosted environments
• Write/follow instructions for deploying, managing software on multiple servers
• Develop and implement technical solutions for our clients, with the support of others within the project team and organization
• Deploy IT hosting best practices
• Work with Client and Project Lead to deliver solutions on time

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• Minimum Bachelor s or higher degree in computer science or an engineering related field
• 5+ years of experience in cloud IT infrastructure, linux administration
• Experience working with operating systems (Windows/Linux/Unix) from the command line
• Experience delivering technology implementations through Agile and Scrum
• Cloud deployment, infrastructure and architecture
• AWS, Kubernetes, Docker
• Infrastructure as Code, DevOps and CICD
• Managing SAS Infrastructure, R, Python, Java based applications and services
• Kubernetes, Docker
• Strong communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Experience in working with US/EU clients
• Willing to work in US/UK timezone as per the project requirements
