Linux Administrator Job in Dinero Software

Position Summary:

• The individual will be responsible for LAMP-stack, automation, containerization and variety of databases hosted in-house and cloud.
• Development, production, and testing environments shall be used as per defined and proven SDLCs by the organization.
• Create, update, maintain the linux based services, configurations, accesses and database structures within different setups, as well as establishing access for users with security.
  
• Responsible for DevOps of In-House and Cloud hosted infrastructure at AWS, GCP & IBM
• Strict follow and adherence to guidelines and security processes defined by the organization.

Function as a technical generalist responsible for the overall health and performance of Linux servers

Perform backups and assist in disaster recovery planning and verifications.

.

• Implement and monitor system logs, application logs, and other services to identify, debug and fix potential issues.

• Should be able to setup New Web Servers and in managing existing Web-Applications hosted through apache and nginx with the ease.

• Apply operating system updates, patches and configuration changes as needed

• Hardware Updates

• Conduct basic security administration for servers and applications user add/change/removes

• DNS, DHCP, Postfix, Spamassassin, squid, LAMP setup and management

• User Management

• Automate the deployment, administration, and monitoring of applications & Linux environment - Maintain Updates with DB / Linux / Software

• Setup, management and configuration of MySQL and other major Databases setup such as mongodb, redis, etc. Database Users Setup & Access Securities.

Must Have Technical Skills:

• Solid working knowledge of Linux and its various flavours.

• AWS or GCP knowledge is a must

• On-Hand with Docker, docker-compose and container solutions.

• In-depth knowledge of DNS (bind), DHCP, TCP and their working.

• Good understanding and knowledge of various servers, services and utilities such as squid, iptables, ssh, vsftpd, top, etc.

• Configuration and administration of Apache server and Apache Virtual Hosting along with various php / python /perl modules.

• Good knowledge of Networking, Ports, subnets and classes.

• Good understanding of MySQL database server, replication types and setup master-slave, multimaster, Galera, etc.

• Should carry good knowledge of server securities.

• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.

• Ability to perform in heterogeneous setup of windows + linux + Mac, etc.

• Good understanding of centralised log accumulation and analysis.

• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Nagios or Zabbix.

• Ansible or Chef or Puppet will add advantages.
