Reference Data Service (RDS) is an authoritative source for key reference data in the bank, equipped with industry standard infrastructure and strategic distribution mechanism. RDS provides centralised reference data of book, client instrument and product across the business and supporting infrastructure functions to reduce operational risk, standardize controls &reporting and increase operational efficiency. RDS provides a defined operating model for the sourcingmaintenance and supply of reference data as well as an easy to engage integration and service model to facilitate adoption into your applications. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability of multiple applications which enables distribution of reference data to consumer systems front-to-back. You will thrive when working under pressure, expected to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Your key responsibilities

• The candidate will be responsible of applications platform (infra) support in Data Tech domain. Candidate should be practicing ITIL framework IM, CM, SRF etc
• Accountable for the stability and continuous availability of Application platform/environment.
• Ensure that infra monitoring is in place, monitored regularly and take precautionary measurements to ensure Environment availability and shall timely communicate stakeholders about planned and unplanned downtime.
• Pickup tickets from request queue, follow SLR/SLA.
• Responsible for coordinating and collaborating with various central support teams (both internal and external) for issue resolution and escalate appropriately.
• Shall contribute to cost optimisation initiatives, process and efficiency improvements.
• Shall have experience in working with Development team through SDLC

Your skills and experience

• Hands on experience in Oracle, Unix, Shell script, ServiceNow (or any other ITIL Tool), Middleware (Tomcat, jBoss etc)
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Out of Box Thinking
• Self-Learning and Self Motivated
• Taking Ownership, Accountability and own tasks till closure

• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Ability to manage the expectations of stakeholders.
• Passion about sharing knowledge and best practice
• Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix organizations
• Fluent English (written/verbal)
