Position Overview

RCA domain is responsible for :
Interacting with regulators globally and understanding, interpreting and advising whole bank on regulatory adherence.
Compliance:Responsible for managing control room function, position reporting to regulators, ensure independent validation and verification of Trading Policies, Communication Surveillance (for all communication channels like voice, chat and emails), Employee compliance and Customer suitability.
AFC: On Anti Money Laundering and Anti Financial Crime end, this domain is responsible for Sanctions and Embargo List Management, Name list screening, Transaction monitoring, Suspicious Activity monitoring, Non Standard behavior monitoring, etc.
NFRM: Non Financial Risk management like Operational risk, Audit and regulatory risks.
Records Management: Defining Records Managements policies and providing toolsto manage this for entire bank.
This division needs to monitor various functions on independent basis for entire bank globally, hence we deal with huge volumes on daily basis.
Technology stack includes micro services, Angular, Linux Openshift, Hadoop, Spark , Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, etc.
We are continuously looking at infusing latest technology to build state of the art Surveillance systems for the bank.

Job Description Electronic Communication Board
The mission of the Electronic Communications Board is to govern the Electronic Communications Systems of the bank, based upon the
policies and practices defined by Senior Level Policy making Committees. The ECOM is an essential central governance board in which the
primary remit is to ensure both for the introduction of new of electronic communication systems (ECS) are a) essential to deploy to support
the banks capabilities b) compliant with policies as required directly of our Compliance, Group Data Protection, Records Management as well
as other key control functional areas
Below are expected related tasks and activities:
The position will work with the onsite team ensuring they are following all processes and procedures related to the ECOM application review
processes. This role with work closely with the ECOM Team Lead for application reviews, team performance and reporting.
This position is also responsible to perform the ECOM application assessment process for determining regulatory requirements for electronic
communications used within the bank. This person will work closely with the application owner to complete the ECS questionnaire and
prepare the application for presentation to the ECOM board for approval or rejection.
Note: The workday for this position is required to align to UK business hours.
Weekly responsibilities for the ECOM SME include, but are not limited to:
l Work with application owners to identify new ECS applications
l Drive and own the ECOM vetting questionnaire for individual ECS applications
l Provide recommendation to the ECOM board on the ECS determination for individual applications
l Prepare ECOM scorecard for presentation to the ECOM for final approval
l Work with application owners to track progress of any mitigation activities identified by the ECOM board
l Monitor Banks application registry to identify any ECS applications not identified by application owners
l Maintain ECS master list of applications

Qualifications
l Experience in Information Lifecycle Governance Programmes Extremely beneficial
l Experience in Financial Services industry - Mandatory
l Excellent communication skills both written and oral
l Good Microsoft Office skills; Excel, Word, MS Project, Power Point and Visio
l Excellent inter personal and influencing skills
l Attention to detail and highly organized
l Able to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
