Job Requirements

Candidates must have the following experience:

• 5 years+ software project management experience
• IT project management in anagileenvironment
• Managing development and testing teams
• Managing complex, mission-critical software development projects
• Project planning and prioritization
• Capacity planning
• Resource management (including direct line management and reporting)
• Resource planning and task scheduling
• Risk assessment, management and escalation
• Project reporting

Candidate must be:

• Proactive and responsive to changing project needs
• Highly organized
• Highly competent and diligent
• Focussed on quality
• Focussed on on-time delivery

Candidates must have:

• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to work well under pressure

• Excellent written and spoken English

The candidate would benefit from:

PMP certification

• Computer Science or related IT/IS degree or similar
• Understanding of project development languages, in particular PHP, Dot Net
• Understanding of Framework or Open Source software projects
• Knowledge of Team Foundation Server

Job Specification:

• Identifying the development and testing resource required for each project
• Managing and monitoring resource capacity, including providing weekly capacity reports
• Scheduling development resources for agreed work plans (sprints)
• Involvement in requirement assessment meetings and sprint planning
• Collaborating with teams in the UK to deliver sprint requirements
• Ensuring the required company standard for quality and project processes are being adhered to
• Monitoring the productivity and output of the development team
• Ensuring agreed project milestones are being achieved
• Ensuring output meets the requirements of the project
• Monitoring the attendance of the development/testing team
• Identifying and reporting project risks and delays
• Providing support and guidance to the development and testing team
• Providing regular feedback and reports to the UK project team and company Directors
