Job description

We are hiring Laravel developers to develop and maintain high-end web applications for our international clients. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products are essential.

Job responsibilities

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers to build new web applications from grounds up
• Working on complex web applications for further enhancement/addition of features
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
• Integration of data storage solutions
• Understanding fundamental principles behind a scalable application development and implementing the same on client projects
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of core PHP
• Expertise in Laravel framework
• Knowledge of MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB and JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, XML
• Excellent knowledge of Web Services SOAP and REST services
• Proficiency in PHP MVC architecture and OOP programming style
• Excellent knowledge of RDBMS concepts
• Good to have front-end Javascript knowledge Angular / React.js / Vue.js
• Knowledge of version control system GIT
• Working knowledge of the common PHP or web server security threats and their solutions
• Working knowledge of cloud servers Amazon AWS, Google Cloud etc
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system

Nice to have

• DevOps experience
• CI/CD experience
• Hands-on experience in Microservices architecture
• Experience in performance optimization
• Knowledge of CakePHP / CodeIgnitor / Symfony / Zend framework as a secondary skill

• Needs to be a team player
• Disciplined and self-motivated
• Needs to have problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills. Ideally in English but not mandatory
• Good to have previous experience of direct client interaction for project brief and updates
