Job Summary

Role Requirement

Project Manager is expected to manage the specific project using Agile and/or Hybrid methodology. The project management for projects or programmes will consist of activities in relation to planning and monitoring as follows:

  • Estimation of resource effort and cost budgets
  • Definition of programme / project scope and goals
  • Planning support which will cover approach definition, work breakdown, sequencing and milestone definition
  • Lead small client and internal teams to understand, design, enhance, confirm and deliver objectives of the engagement
  • Identification of project risks and issues. Recommend and track mitigating actions
  • Identification of dependencies internal to the programme / project and externally to other projects and business areas
  • Build and leverage relationships with sponsors, Program Leads and key stakeholders and understand their priorities
  • Support all essential governance activities including working group & steering committee through documentation including meeting minutes and recording of agreed actions
  • Task allocation across teams and team members. Track against activity or milestone completion and escalate variance to programme / project plan (in accordance with escalation process)
  • Project status reporting. Understand changes necessary to balance execution efficiency with risk mitigation, value delivery, cost, quality and benefits
  • Support program leadership or the natural team and enable the project team to collaborate effectively with business IT, the impacted businesses, wider stakeholders both internally and externally, resolving issues such as financing, risk, resourcing, integrated planning and long-term management of any resulting products and services where appropriate
  • Support readiness decisions and follow up actions from programme / project tollgates
  • Experience in Consulting and exposure to digital transformation engagements is preferable

Qualifications

  • Project Manager 8to 12 years of experience
  • Professional Qualification Bachelor s/Master s degree from an accredited college/university plus a PMP/Prince2 certification and/or ScrumMaster certification is a plus
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
