Job Summary Role Overview: As a Modern Consumption & Software Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for proactively identifying and solving customer business needs by offering expert advice and creating customized solutions using Dell Technologies products and services. You will work closely with senior-level technical personnel and decision-makers, playing a key role in demonstrating the value of APEX, Data Center Utility, Transactional Licensing Agreement (TLA), and associated offerings to help customers achieve their business goals. What You ll Achieve: Customer Relationship Management: Build and manage strong relationships with senior-level technical personnel and decision-makers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions using Dell s portfolio. Solution Demonstration: Effectively demonstrate the value of APEX, Data Center Utility, TLA, and other offerings, showcasing how these solutions advance customer business objectives. Thought Leadership: Offer insights and thought leadership to customers, guiding them through the complexities of multi-cloud and data center technologies, and recommending applicable solutions from Dell s portfolio. Sales Support: Act as a key technical resource for the sales organization, helping them meet and exceed sales objectives by providing deep knowledge of Dell s products, services, and solutions. What We Are Looking For: Essential Requirements: Expertise: Strong experience in customer conversations and technical sales, with advanced knowledge of multi-cloud solutions and Dell s Storage portfolio. Product Knowledge: Excellent understanding of product configurations and how Dell s technology offerings can be leveraged to meet diverse customer needs. Communication Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, enabling effective communication with customers, internal teams, and leadership. Desirable Requirements: Experience: 8 to 12 years of experience in a relationship-selling role, particularly in the technology or cloud services space.
