Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Regional Technical Sales Manager - Poultry to join them.Responsibilities: Provide customer service and technical support to address customers concerns with regard to the Company s products and solutions
Build and develop strong customer relationships, including industry influencers from universities, research institutes and poultry associations
Demonstrate poultry expertise by using technical competency and relevant practical experience from the poultry industry to support and contribute to the Company s business
Monitor and collate poultry production figures and market information
Keep abreast of new or changing market trends or focus within the industry
Support poultry trials and research by developing trial protocols and conducting data analysis
Position the Company as the preferred supplier of feed additives within the poultry industry
Participate in major local, regional and international fairs and industry eventsRequirements:
Degree in related sciences (veterinary medicine, animal nutrition, zoology, animal science, animal biology/microbiology)
Min of 5 years technical/commercial experience in poultry business
Highly dedicated and sales driven with a high degree of personal motivation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with publications (scientific writing of articles and peer-reviewed papers)
Possessing a sharp business acumen and customer-oriented
Able to work independently as well as in a team
Good command of written and spoken English
Flexibility to travel extensively during busy periods
Willingness to travel out of the region occasionally for training or other meetings.
