Job Summary

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Understanding the user requirement specification (URS) document received from client

Interacting with client/sales to seek clarifications and additional information if required regarding the URS

Advising client on technical aspects

Attending meetings/telecon with client related to offer clarification

To review and finalise the techno-commercial offer document and cost estimate for client by understanding the client requirements, while ensuring continuity of customer service to client

Review / verification of purchase order received from client

Ensuring the feasibility of technicality, delivery and support before offer generation and during order finalization

Exploring new components / methods for product development and cost effectiveness

Interacting with technical and commercial purchase team for different vendor introductions, technologies, costs.

Interaction with projects team for client comments during project execution which are related to design and cost change

Interaction with project team for sorting out any document / scope discrepancy if needed for live projects.

Review of order amendments with projects and internal team before submission to client

Interacting with client to clarify the order amendments for revision in scope

Reviewing the live offers / designs / constraints / requirements with internal team and providing workable solutions

Strategizing technical designs to suit customer requirement based on the competition

Handing over to DDE internal team the finally agreed proposal / contract with client on receipt of PO from client

Responding to client / sales for client comments on the submitted proposals for any technical queries.

Interacting with vendors for client technical queries if needed.

Monitoring of live offers for follow ups with client / sales.

Assisting head in arranging for branding collaterals for exhibitions / marketing use

Interacting and finalizing on stall design for exhibitions

Interaction with existing and new vendors for product upgradation, new products, new technologies, cost effectiveness, market updates etc.

Coordinating with marketing coordinator for timelines of offer submission.

Monitoring and ensuring the timelines of offer submission from internal team (sales support)

Providing cost estimation for the components used (by interacting with vendors and seeking quote) in case of new components / emergency

Designing the P&IDs based on client specifications and preparation of technical offer in case of emergency

Designing and arranging for products to be carried to exhibition by interacting with internal departments and vendors



Requirements

Technical Skills

MS Office

Instrumentation Knowledge

P & ID reading & preparation

Basic Automation - Electrical & Mechanical

Production Experience in Pharma Industry

Proposal /technical document writing experience is preferred

Functional Skills

Marketing strategy

Commerce knowledge eg. Taxes

Basic knowledge about utility consumption and line sizing calculation
