Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Basic understanding of ASME-BPE guidelines & process engineering
Review / improvement in Piping & Instrumentation diagrams
Preparation of Bill of Material for Bought out items
Preparation of equipment & instrument datasheets
Technical procurement cycle starting from Data sheet preparation, enquiry, vendor query, offer comparison (technical & commercial), vendor drawing approvals
Sizing of equipment & Piping & hydraulic calculations etc.
Basic understanding of calculating utilities for SIP and CIP processes
Coordinate the various aspects of the process engineering, including design, planning and development
Provide specialist technical input into team project work
Develop or bring forward, as appropriate, industry best practices and new technologies
Explore new designs, vendors etc. & bring in best industry practices & components with cost reduction
Project cost control w.r.t budget & timelines
Support in troubleshooting for site issues & boughtouts
Requirements
Technical Skills
Good in Process / Bio Process Engineering understanding
2-5 years of experience
Good in reading drawings
Aware of ASME BPE codes / its requirements
Functional Skills
Various calculations like pressure drop, heat exchanger sizing etc.
