Job Summary

We are looking for dynamic, self-motivated buyer to join our existing team. You will research, evaluate, and buy products to meet our needs. The ideal candidate for the buyer position is astute, analytical, and a skilled negotiator and deal-maker.

Some of the key functions of the role are

• Identifying new products and review existing performance.
• Sourcing quality suppliers and negotiating prices.
• Making sure the right stock is ordered at the right time.
• Analysing data for predicting future product demand.
• Presenting new product ideas to senior management.
• Stock control and full inventory management.
• Reacting to changes in consumer demand.
• Maintaining relations with existing suppliers.

Required Skills

• Communication Skills Superior communications skills and command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Analytical Skills - You will be working with multiple suppliers to determine the best deals and will have to evaluate the many pros and cons of each, based on price, quality, speed of delivery and other factors.
• Decision-Making Skills - You will need to use the information you have gathered to make decisions on behalf of company.
• Math Skills - Basic math skills will be needed to analyse prices and get the best deals possible.
• Negotiating Skills - You will be working with suppliers to create the best deals. Negotiating skills will help you create those deals.
